Lakers Tournament – March 19th
– March 21st
The
20th Annual Lakers Tournament is fast approaching. It will be held on March 19-21, 2004. We hope to make this the best and most
exciting one yet. A lot of organization
and hard work goes into this event to ensure a successful tournament.
We
have formulated a list of items needed for donations for tournament
weekend. Traditionally, all Laker
parents have been very generous with providing these baked goods and we thank
you. This has been very successful in
the past. The following is a description
of items needed:
1.
Baked Goods: (2 Doz. Per Laker Family)
individually wrapped for sale on our “Baked Goods/Snack Table”. We target these items to sell for 25 cents
per package. If possible please wrap as
listed below:
1 Large or 2 small brownies
per bag
2 Large or 3 small cookies
per bag
1 Fruit Square per bag
1 Piece of cake per bag
1 Frosted/Decorated cupcake
per bag
2.
Soups: We are looking for Beef and Chicken based
soups, such as vegetable, minestrone, chicken noodle, beef stew, or chili. We will also accept meatballs, tuna boat
sandwiches, or any other crock pot item you can think of. ALL donations are greatly appreciated.
It would be greatly appreciated and helpful if you could inform us of what soups or hot dishes you will be bringing in, as we will need to plan.

3. Donations: If any Laker parent knows of or does business with at company that is willing to donate some item, whether it be food, a raffle item, etc, please contact Claudette Lorden or Denise Welsh. Your generous donations for the tournament are greatly appreciated.
Help is needed by all members of the Lakers organization in making this 20th Year a great success. So please volunteer your services when you see your Tournament Rep or the sign up sheets posted in the Lake Ave Rink Lobby.
Whether your child is or is not in the tournament, your help is needed.
Thanks again, and we look forward to another great and successful tournament.
